Delray Beach Ocean Mile Swim

$25On Sunday, January 6, 2013, the City of Delray Beach Ocean Rescue will host their Annual Ocean Mile Swim with over 300 swimmers competing in this one-mile, open water swim (with current).
The event will begin at 9:30 am on the City’s Beach, across from Anchor Park (340 South Ocean Blvd). Registration opens at 8:00 am and the race is open to everyone. Swimmers will be divided into men’s and women’s divisions, from 14 and under up to 70 and over. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each division. All competitors will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt with registration.
The cost for registration is $25.00 per swimmer. Team registrations (10+ swimmers) $20 per swimmer – must pay with one check.
Money raised will help support the Delray Beach Lifeguard Competition Team & Junior Lifeguard Program.
