Grandview Public Market (GPM), the newly minted social hall filled with culinary
food concepts is partnering with Jazz Aspen Snowmass to bring world class
entertainment to West Palm Beach with an evening of Latin Jazz.
On May 17 at 7 p.m. Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Grandview Public will present
Sammy Figueroa, a world-class percussionist with a resume that includes playing
with Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, Quincy Jones, George Benson and David
Bowie. He is a two-time Grammy nominee and one the world’s great congueros.
The evening will be an explosion of Latin jazz and rhythm sure to expand the
view of the jazz genre.
The concert is free and open to the public. Craft cocktails will be available from
Horchtstader’s Slow & Low. Come early, leave late, relax and enjoy the unique
opportunity to hear world-class jazz right in your backyard.
