Harbourside in Jupiter is the newest home of a Pura Vida restaurant and Delray residents can expect their own ocean-side location late this summer. They will be joining the Palm Beach County locations we already love in West Palm Beach and West Boca A favorite phrase of Costa Ricans — known for their easy-going lifestyle — “Pura Vida” translates to “pure life” and is a sentiment that takes on many meanings. For Pura Vida the brand, the sentiment takes form in their health-conscious menu and sustainability efforts.
Known for a wellness culture and beachy motif, Pura Vida serves up recipes inspired by co-founders and husband-wife duo, Omer and Jennifer Horev. Patrons can expect acai bowls, superfood smoothies, wraps, salads, sandwiches and bowls. Standouts include the Miami Mocha smoothie (espresso, almond butter, dates, banana. Cacao, almond mylk, vanilla grass-fed whey protein; $11.95) and the Mango Salmon bowl (oven-roasted salmon, quinoa, arugula, avocado, mango, pickled red onion, cherry tomatoes, sesame seeds, Pura Vida sauce; $24.95).
The franchise is also dedicated to providing a large variety of options for different dietary restrictions. Their menu includes plenty of gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options, without sacrificing taste or creativity. Common allergens (like nuts and sesame) are also explicated on the menu to signify they are in a dish.
With locally sourced and organic dishes, Pura Vida is always a good choice for your health, your taste buds, and your morals. They will be sated with sustainability efforts like food waste composting, soil donations to local farmers, and quarterly beach cleanups, among others.
Whether you’re on the go and need something nutritious or you want a cheery new brunch spot (with all-day breakfast options), Pura Vida hits the mark.
