29th Annual Delray Beach Turkey Trot

Coming November 21—Register Now!

Yup, runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels, it’s Turkey Trot time!  Hundreds of trotters will descend on Anchor Park on November 21 for this extremely popular 5k run/walk, entering its 29th year.

According to Danielle Beardsley from the Delray Parks and Rec Department, everyone’s looking forward to another monster event.  “It seems like every year the turnout gets bigger and bigger. We have runners and walkers come from as far away as  Miami .  We often hear that our Turkey Trot is one of the most beautiful courses anyone runs in.  It’s going to be another awesome event and we expect over 700   participants”.

In addition to being a fun time for all,  proceeds from the Turkey Trot will again benefit the “Keith Straghn Feed the Hungry Thanksgiving Drive”, serving needy families in Delray Beach.  An additional donation will go to Wheels From The Heart.  www.wheelsfromtheheart.org
