There are so many great activities for kids in Palm Beach County that it can sometimes be hard to know where to start when it comes to planning weekend or after-school fun. We’ve compiled some of our favorites in South County for your consideration. Exactly what it sounds like, but minus the strawberries (for now)

There are currently no strawberries, but there are lots of other activities like a petting zoo, gem mining and a rubber duck derby race

Delray Beach Children’s Gardens
What it is
An educational oasis
What to do
They offer structured classes, open garden play on the weekends and even themed birthday parties (fairy tea party is an option — we checked)
Why it’s good for kids
They can get their little hands dirty (and learn things) without tracking it all over your house

Gumbo Limbo Nature Center
What it is
An education center and sister organization to nonprofit Gumbo Limbo Coastal Stewards

Attend one of their daily aquarium feedings or enjoy their nature trail
