Yes, it’s a stroke of genius. One might even say the future of putt-putt golf has arrived, and it’s all thanks to a handful of people who wanted to elevate the casual dining and golf concept. Popstroke is calling your name from its ninth location in Delray Beach; only a mile from Atlantic Avenue.
Described as an experiential golf and casual dining concept that merges a dynamic and technologically advanced golf environment with delicious food and beverage, Popstroke takes the average putt-putt experience to a whole new level. Actually, it’s not even on the same course.
Popstroke Delray features two 18-hole putting courses that are built entirely with synthetic turf, incorporating fairways, bunkers and rough, just like traditional golf courses. But, one of the main draws is that you don’t need to even know how to hold a putter to have fun.
Another highlight is their app, which helps you to boast your scores (or tease your friends) on the Jumbotron leaderboard, as well as the best way to order your favorite draft beer, wine or hand-crafted cocktail and get it delivered right to your (pie)hole, so you don’t have to miss a stroke. The goal for owners and partners (Tiger Woods is one, have you heard of him?), was to infuse technology within the golf experience to create an interactive and competitive atmosphere for all participants.
And even if you want to just participate in the scratch-made food and drink, you can do that, too. The menu features everything from ahi tuna nachos, wings, buffalo chicken salad, churrasco steak and shrimp, Caribbean jerk chicken tacos and more. It might just even be your new brunch spot with shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, and bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s. It’s also a great place to let the kids enjoy the outdoor games and playground while you sit and enjoy your meal (for once).
